The North Shore MRC is in the basement of Brother's Restaurant, in Wakefield, MA (zip 01880). Entry to the club is from the parking lot at the rear of the restaurant. Some photos to help you are also listed below.

Wakefield center is North of Boston, and is off of Mass route 128/I-95; not far from the 93/128 (north) intersection. For local drivers, Mass rt 129 runs in front of Brothers restaurant.

If you are driving, we are about a 15 minute drive from downtown Boston on a traffic free day. You can stop laughing now :) The best directions can be found on the Internet. Use a map program like Google Maps to find the best directions (restaurant address is 404 Main st, 01880). Your map site can then give you driving directions from your current location. For parking locations, please see our show map. Access to the parking lot behind Brothers is via Princess street.

The club is also accessible by Boston's transit system, the MBTA, also known as "the T". Both the Commuter (Heavy) Rail and bus sytem run close to the club. On the show map the commuter rail stop is the purple circle, and the bus is the yellow circle.

Commuter rail (the purple line on a T map) leaves Boston from North Station. We are on the Haverhill/Reading line. Both Haverhill and Reading trains, as well as 'express' trains, will stop at Wakefield Station. Wakefield is in commuter zone 2, and fare is current $3.50 each way. The club is about a 7 minute walk from the station.

The bus system also comes to Wakefield center via bus 136 and/or 137 (both run the same route to Wakefield center). They leave from both Malden Center and Oak grove MBTA Orange line stations. (There is parking at Oak grove). Malden/Oak Grove to Wakefield is one bus zone, so the bus fare is 90 cents. There is no Sunday or holiday bus service on this line. Form the bus stop, it's a 2 minute walk to the club. There is an alley to the Brothers parking lot off of Lincoln St.
